The CR-S024VDC1R Pluggable interface relay is from ABB's slim CR-S range which completes the assortment for pluggable interface relays that offers the right solution for your application. As an interface, interface relays connect the electronic control level, e.g. PLC, with the level of the sensors and actuators. They take on various functions: Switching DC or AC voltage loads with different ohmic, inductive and capacitive components, switching in voltage from a few mV to 250V, switching in the current range from a few mA to 6A, amplifying weak control signals, electrical isolation of control and load circuits as well as signal multiplication. The CR-S series has 5 different coil voltage ranges with 1 changeover contact, coming in an option of standard or hard gold-plated design. Two versions are available: complete versions or freely selectable sockets and plug-in relays. The interface relays are mounted on a socket which is available with either screw or spring connection. Besides the single components ABB offers complete variants that include relay and socket which cover the main relevant applications.
