SF1116-6002

The SF1116-6002 from SV Microwave - Amphenol is a 2.4mm male to 2.92mm female adapter. The 2.4mm connector was developed for use to 50GHz. This connector series uses a thick outer wall to eliminate the fragility seen in SMA and 2.92mm connectors. The female socket is also strengthened to ensure reliable mating. The 2.4mm series mates with SMA, 3.5mm and 2.92mm connectors with adapters and can mate with the 1.85mm series without adapters. Typical applications include high speed digital, instrumentation, military, aerospace, satellite communication equipment (SATCOM), cable assemblies and test and measurement.

• Outer conductors engage and align before centre contacts engage preventing damage to centre contact
• Plug coupling nut extends beyond the male centre contact, protecting the contact while not mated
• Fixed bead contact assembly prevents transmission of mating torques to circuit elements
• Interface dimensions minimize distortion and deterioration of the mating surfaces
