TS419IST is a 360mW mono audio amplifier with active high standby mode. This monaural audio power amplifier drives in BTL mode a 16 or 32-ohm earpiece or receiver speaker. The main advantage of this configuration is to get rid of bulky output capacitors. Capable of descending to low voltages, it delivers up to 220mW per channel (into 16 ohm loads) of continuous average power with 0.2% THD+N in the audio bandwidth from a 5V power supply. An externally controlled standby mode reduces the supply current to 10nA typical. It can be configured by external gain-setting resistors. It is used in applications such as 16 / 32ohm earpiece or receiver speaker driver, mobile and cordless phones (analogue / digital), PDAs & computers, portable appliances.
- Operating VCC voltage range from 2V to 5.5V, standby mode active high
- Supply current is 1.8mA typical at (no input signal, no load, Tamb = 25°C)
- Signal-to-noise ratio is 98dB typical at (RL = 32 ohm, THD +N <lt/> 0.5%, 20Hz ≤ F ≤ 20KHz)
- Power supply rejection ratio is 56dB typical at (F = 1KHz, Vripple = 200mVpp)
- Short-circuit limitation, ON/OFF click reduction circuitry
- Gain bandwidth product is 1.1MHz typical at (RL = 16 ohm, VCC = +5V, GND = 0V, Tamb = 25°C)
- Slew rate is 0.4V/µS typical at (RL = 16 ohm, VCC = +5V, GND = 0V, Tamb = 25°C)
- Total harmonic distortion + noise is 0.15% typical at (RL = 32 ohm, Pout = 150mW, 20Hz ≤ F ≤ 20KHz)
- Output power is 367mW typical at (THD+N = 10% Max, F = 1KHz, RL = 16 ohm)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, miniSO8 package
