AD5697RBRUZ-RL7 is a low power, dual, 12bit buffered voltage output, nanoDAC® digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). It incorporates a power-on reset circuit and an RSTSEL pin that ensures that the DAC outputs power upto zero scale or midscale and remains there until a valid write takes place. It contains a per-channel power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 4µA at 3V while in power-down mode. It uses a versatile 2-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates up to 400KHz and includes a VLOGIC pin intended for 1.8V/3V/5V logic. It is used in applications such as base station power amplifiers, process controls (programmable logic controller [PLC] I/O cards), industrial automation, and data acquisition systems.

- Power supply voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V, relative accuracy is ±0.12LSB typical
- Differential nonlinearity is ±1LSB maximum at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V; 1.62V ≤ VLOGIC ≤ 5.5V)
- Total unadjusted error is ±0.01% of FS typical at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V; 1.62V ≤ VLOGIC ≤ 5.5V)
- Gain error is ±0.02% of FSR typical at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V; 1.62V ≤ VLOGIC ≤ 5.5V)
- Output voltage settling time is 5µs typical at (¼ to ¾ scale settling to ±2LSB)
- Slew rate is 0.8V/µs typical at (VDD = 2.7V to 5.5V; 1.62V ≤ VLOGIC ≤ 5.5V)
- Digital-to-analogue glitch impulse is 0.5nV-sec typical at (1LSB change around major carry)
- Signal-to-noise ratio is 90dB typical at (ambient, bandwidth = 20KHz, VDD = 5V, fOUT = 1KHz)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C, 16-lead TSSOP package
