AD7547 is a dual channel, 12bit current output DAC on one monolithic chip. In on chip there are level shifters, data registers and control logic for easy microprocessor interfacing. There ae 12 data inputs CSA, CSB, WR control DAC selection and loading. Data is latched into DAC registers on the rising edge of WR. This device is speed compatible with most microprocessors and accepts TTL, 74HC, and 5V CMOS logic level inputs. The D/A converter provides 4-quadrant multiplications capabilities with separate reference inputs and feedback resistors. monolithic construction ensures thermal and gain error tracking is excellent. 12bit monotonocity is guaranteed for both DACs over the full temperature. It is manufactured using linear compatible CMOS (LC²MOS) process. This allows fast digital logic and precision linear circuitry to be fabricated on same die. It is used in applications like automatic test equipment, programmable filters, audio applications, synchro applications, process control.
