ADA4938-2 is a dual channel, low noise, ultralow distortion, high speed differential amplifier. It is an ideal choice for driving high performance ADCs with resolutions upto 16bits from dc to 27MHz, or upto 12bits from dc to 74MHz. The output common-mode voltage is adjustable over a wide range, allowing the device to match the input of the ADC. The internal common-mode feedback loop also provides exceptional output balance as well as suppression of even-order harmonic distortion products. Full differential and single-ended-to-differential gain configurations are easily realized with the device. A simple external feedback network of four resistors determines the closed-loop gain of the amplifier. It is used in applications such as ADC drivers, single-ended-to-differential converters, IF and baseband gain blocks, differential buffers, line drivers.

- Slew rate is 4700V/μs typical at (VOUT = 2V p-p, TA = 25°C)
- −3dB small signal bandwidth is 1000MHz typical at (VOUT = 0.1V p-p, TA = 25°C)
- Input voltage noise is 2.6nV/√Hz typical at (f = 10MHz, TA = 25°C)
- Input bias current is -13µA typical at (TA = 25°C, +VS = 5V)
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C, package style is 24-lead LFCSP
