ADCMP561 is a high speed comparator fabricated on Analog Devices, Inc., proprietary XFCB process. This device feature a 700ps propagation delay with less than 75ps overdrive dispersion. Dispersion, a measure of the difference in propagation delay under differing overdrive conditions, is a particularly important characteristic of comparators. A latch input, which is included, permits tracking, track-and-hold, or sample-and-hold modes of operation. The latch input pins contain internal pull-ups that set the latch in tracking mode when left open. It is used in application such as automatic test equipment, high speed instrumentation, scope and logic analyser front ends, window comparators, high speed line receivers, threshold detection, peak detection, high speed triggers, patient diagnostics, disk drive read channel detection, hand-held test instruments, zero-crossing detectors, line receivers and signal restoration, clock drivers etc.

• Robust input protection, slew rate dispersion is 50ps typical at (0.4V/ns ≤ SR ≤ 1.33V/ns)
• Differential latch control, internal latch pull-up resistors

• Minimum pulse width is 700ps typical at (ΔtPD <lt/> 25ps)
• Equivalent input rise time bandwidth is 1500MHz typical at (0V to 1V swing, 2V/ns)
