FPF2123

The FPF2123 is a IntelliMAX full function load switch with adjustable current limit in 5 pin SOT-23 package. It provides full protection to systems and loads which may encounter large current conditions. This device contains 0.125ohm current limited P channel MOSFET which can operate over an input voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V. The current limit is set using an external resistor. Internally the current is prevented from flowing when MOSFET is off and output voltage is higher than input voltage. Switch control is by logic input (ON) capable of interfacing directly with low voltage control signals. Each part contains thermal shutdown protection which shuts off switch to prevent damage to part when continuous overcurrent condition causes excessive heating.
