The 1-2301994-1 from TE Connectivity is an industrial RJ45 jack with integrated magnetics. It offers a highly integrated connectivity solution from the cable to the physical layer for industrial Ethernet. Integrating the magnetics into the jack allows for a much improved EMI noise shielding, enabling more reliable connections. A standardized RJ45 (8P8C) portfolio with 1x1 right angle form factor addresses many of the industrial applications. Specific industrial requirements such as high reliability through improved corrosion resistance, extended temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and long product lifetime are all addressed, including support of the latest reflow soldering production processes.
- Supports 1Gbps data rate (IEC 60603-7-51), Cat 6 performance category
- Both current and voltage mode PHY-chips supported
- Available with inverted-latch up, LEDs options
- Copper alloy contacts with 0.76μm (30μ") gold over 1.27μm (50μ") nickel plating
- Improved EMI integrity and signal integrity performance
- Brass shield with nickel plating, UL recognized
- Dielectric withstanding voltage of 2250VDC, through hole solder termination
- Minimum 750 mating cycles, operating temperature range from -40°C to+85°C
- Black colour high grade LCP (liquid crystal polymer material), UL94 V-0 flammability rating
- Integrated magnetics reduces the (analogue) design efforts required by the user
