HMC1019ALP4E is a broadband 5bit GaAs IC digital attenuator in a low cost leadless surface mount package. Attenuation accuracy is excellent at ±0.3 dB typical step error with an IIP3 of +45dBm. The control interface is CMOS/TTL compatible and accepts a three wire serial input. This features a user selectable power up state and a serial output port for cascading other Analog Devices serial controlled components. Typical application includes fibre optics & broadband telecom, microwave radio & VSAT, military radios, radar & ECM, space applications, sensors, test and measurement equipment.
- TTL/CMOS compatible, serial control
- Unique asynchronous mode control allows immediate attenuation level setting
- Insertion loss is 3.5dB (typ, 0.1 to 18.0GHz, TA = +25°C, with Vdd = Vdd1 = +5V, Vss = -5V)
- Attenuation range is 15.5dB (typ, 0.1 to 30.0GHz, TA = +25°C, With Vdd = Vdd1 = +5V, Vss = -5V)
- Return loss (RF1 & RF2, all atten. states) is 12dB (typ, 0.1 to 30.0GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Input power for 0.1dB compression is 22dBm (typ, 0.1 to 0.5GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Input third order intercept point is 42dBm (typ, 0.1 to 0.5GHz, TA = +25°C)
- Switching characteristics is 60ns (typ, 0.1 to 30.0GHz, tRISE, tFALL (10/90% RF))
- Idd1 is 4.5mA (typ, 0.1 to 30.0GHz, TA = +25°C, with Vdd = Vdd1 = +5V, Vss = -5V)
- 24 lead QFN-EP package, operating temperature range from -40 to +85°C
