LT®1997-2 is an attenuating (funnel) difference amplifier that can be used to translate large differential signals to the low voltage range compatible with ADCs. It combines a precision operational amplifier with highly-matched resistors to form a one-chip solution to attenuate and level shift voltages accurately using no external components. Typical applications include high voltage to low voltage level translation, ADC driver, bidirectional wide common mode range voltage and current sensing, industrial data-acquisition front-ends, replacement for isolation circuits and differential to single-ended conversion.

• Precision attenuation gain = 0.1, 0.2, 0.2
• Wide supply voltage range: 3.3V to 50V
• 1MHz typ -3dB bandwidth (Gain = 0.1)
• 105dB minimum CMRR (gain = 0.1)
• 350µA typ supply current
• 0.006% (60ppm) max gain error at VOUT = ±2.8V and ±1ppm/°C max gain error drift at VOUT = ±7V
• ±2ppm max gain nonlinearity at VOUT = ±7V and ±80µV max op-amp offset voltage
• Rail-to-rail output
• 16 lead MSOP package
• Operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
