LTC®4249 dual electronic circuit breaker (ECB) with current monitors provides independent overcurrent protection to a pair of loads. Each channel has a precision enable input, current monitor output and ready status output. A single resistor configures the ECB threshold. If either channel detects an overcurrent condition, the corresponding breaker disconnects the input from the load. After a circuit breaker event, the open-drain RDY status output pulls low and the ECB latches off. Toggling the enable input turns the ECB back on after a 1 second cooloff period. Application includes 5G mMIMO PA array protection, industrial safety, condition monitoring, relay replacement, load switching.

• Filtered (50µs) primary OC threshold, fast (2µs) secondary OC threshold
• Automatic inrush control, short-circuit protection, precision enable inputs
• Open-drain, ready status outputs
• Operating range from 6 to 65V (TA=25°C. VIN1=VIN2=52V and RIMON=10kohm)
• Typical maximum steady state ECB current is 1.2A (TA=25°C, VIN1=VIN2=52V)
• Typical on-resistance is 75mohm (TA=25°C. VIN1=VIN2=52V)
• Typical ECB On-resistance is 75mohm (TA=25°C, VIN1=VIN2=52V)
• Inrush current limited operating time range from 8 to 12ms (TA=25°C)
• 16-lead LQFN package, temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
