MAX31865EVKIT#

The MAX31865EVKIT# is an evaluation kit for MAX31865 RTD to digital converter. The MAX31865 is an easy to use resistance to digital converter optimized for platinum resistance temperature detectors (RTDs). An external resistor sets the sensitivity for the RTD being used and a precision delta-sigma ADC converts the ratio of the RTD resistance to the reference resistance into digital form. The EV kit includes a MAX31865ATP+ installed as well as a USB to SPI interface. The USB to SPI master section of the EV kit can be used to interact with MAX31865 EV kit software and exercise the device's functionality. The evaluation kit does not come with an RTD. To evaluate temperature, a user supplied RTD must be connected. This kit comes out of the box optimized for a PT1000 RTD but other value RTDs may also be evaluated with a change of the external reference resistor.
