MAX9021AXK+T

The MAX9021AXK+T is a micropower, ultra small, single comparator in 5 pin SC-70 package. This comparator is optimized for low power consumption while still providing fast output response. It is designed for single supply applications from 2.5V to 5.5V and can also operate from dual supplies. It has 3μs propagation delay and consumes 2.8μA of low supply current. The combination of low power, single supply operation down to 2.5V and ultra small footprint makes this device ideal for many applications. The MAX9021 has 4mV of built-in hysteresis to provide noise immunity and prevent oscillations even with slow moving input signal. The design of comparator output stage substantially reduces switching current during output transitions by eliminating power supply glitches. It is used in sensor signal detection, photodiode preamps, digital line receivers, keyless entry systems & threshold detectors/discriminators.

• Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
• Comparator output swings rail to rail
• No phase reversal for overdriven inputs
• Input offset voltage of ±1mV
• Input bias current of 3nA and input offset current of ±2nA
• Common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 100dB and power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of 80dB
• Input common mode range extends from negative supply to within 1.1V of positive supply
