OP281 is a dual ultralow power single-supply amplifier featuring rail-to-rail outputs. Fabricated on Analog Devices’ CBCMOS process, the OP281 feature a precision bipolar input and an output that swings to within millivolts of the supplies, continuing to sink or source current up to a voltage equal to the supply voltage. Applications for this amplifier include safety monitoring, portable equipment, battery and power supply control, and signal conditioning and interfacing for transducers in very low power systems. The output’s ability to swing rail-to-rail and not increase supply current when the output is driven to a supply voltage enables the OP281 to be used as comparators in very low power systems. Application includes comparator, battery-powered instrumentation, safety monitoring, remote sensors, low voltage strain gauge amplifiers.
- Supply current/amplifier is 4μA (typ, VO = 0 V, -40°C ≤ TA ≤ +85°C)
- Single-supply operation range from 2.7V to 12V
- Wide input voltage range, rail-to-rail output swing
- Low offset voltage is 1.5mV, no phase reversal
- Common-mode rejection ratio is 95dB (typ, VCM = 0 V to 2.0V, −40°C ≤ TA ≤ +85°C)
- Input voltage range from 0 to 2V (VS = 3.0V, VCM = 1.5V, TA = 25°C)
- Power supply rejection ratio is 95dB (typ, VS = 2.7V to 12V, -40°C ≤ TA ≤ +85°C)
- Slew rate is 25V/ms (typ, RL = 100kohm, CL = 50pF)
- Voltage noise is 10μV p-p (typ, 0.1Hz to 10Hz)
- 8 lead SOIC-N package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
