EV33X03A is an USB7252C 4-PORT TYPE-C GEN2 SMARTHUB EVB. The EVB-USB7252 is a demonstration and evaluation platform that provides the necessary requirements and interface options for evaluating the USB7252C, a 4-port SuperSpeed+ (SS+) USB SmartHub™ IC on a 4-layer PCB. This allows the user to gain an understanding of the product and accelerate the integration of the USB7252C into the user’s design. The EVB-USB7252 is compliant with the USB 2.0 High-Speed (HS), Full-Speed (FS), and Low-Speed (LS) USB signalling. The EVB-USB7252 is also compliant with USB 3.2 Gen2 on the upstream port and on 3 of the downstream ports including two USB Type-C™ interfaces. The fourth downstream port only supports USB2.0. The EVB-USB7252 platform also supports battery charging on all six downstream ports (maximum of 10A) at any one time. The EVB-USB7252 supports FlexConnect role reversal for any of the six downstream ports with the upstream port.
