BM2P0161 reference board is from wide input voltage (90VAC to 264VAC) to output 12V/2A maximum. It uses PWM method DC/DC converter IC BM2P0161. BM2P0161 is 650V high voltage power MOSFET and starter. The starter realize low stand-by power. Output voltage control method is used current mode regulation, therefore it can used cycle by cycle current limit. Quick response in dynamic load changing is achieved. Switching frequency is fixed 65KHz. Light load situation has frequency decrease function for higher efficiency. Switching frequency jitter function enables lower EMI operation. Various functions are included for safety, soft start, frequency burst mode, VCC OVP, output OLP and thermal shut down.

- No load power consumption of 73mW at IOUT = 0A
- Efficiency is 86% at output 24V, 1.5A
- Output ripple voltage of 190mV (BW=20MHz, not include spike noise)
