MK01-H SPDT changeover surface mount (SMD) MK01 series reed sensor is used in On/Off control switch, proximity, motion, position detection with high power switch option. It is approved by UL. Typical applications include electric vehicles, industrial, security, appliance, telecommunications, medical and white goods.

• SPDT contact configuration, 15 to 20AT sensitivity range
• 10W maximum rated power (any DC combination of V&A not to exceed their individual max)
• 175V maximum switching voltage (DC or peak AC), 0.5A maximum switching current (DC or peak AC)
• 1A maximum carry current (DC or peak AC), 150mohm maximum contact resistance at 0.5V and 50mA
• 0.2KVDC minimum breakdown voltage according to EN60255-5
• 0.7ms maximum operating time (including bounce, measured with nominal voltage)
• 1.5ms maximum release time (measured with no coil excitation)
• Mineral filled epoxy housing and black case colour
• Operating temperature range from -20 to 130°C

Mechanical shock as the result of dropping the reed sensor typically from a distance of greater than 12” may change it’s magnetic sensitivity and/or destroy the sensor.
