STEVAL-ISA178V1

The STEVAL-ISA178V1 is a 1W, VIPer01 evaluation board in buck topology. It uses the VIPER013XS (drain current limitation IDLIM = 360mA and switching frequency FOSC = 30KHz, nominal values). The power supply is set in buck topology VOUT = 5V, IOUT = 0.2A. The input voltage range is 85VAC to 265VAC and the VIPer01 switching frequency is 60KHz. The FB pin of VIPer01 is inverting input of an error amplifier and is an accurate 1.2V voltage reference with respect to the GND pin. The IC is biased through a diode connected to VOUT. The VIPer01 is also equipped with a frequency reduction feature to limit excessive currents at start-up, as well as overload/short-circuit and overtemperature management.
